Yellowfin Tuna Carpaccio

Ingredients:

  • Yellowfin tuna
  • Spring onion
  • ⁠Olive oil 
  • ⁠Cherry tomatoes
  • Black pepper
  • Lime
  • Soya sauce or Yakitori sauce 

Method:

  1. Thinly slice the tuna and arrange it neatly on a plate or serving dish.
  2. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the tuna until it’s well covered.
  3. Place the dish in the fridge and let it marinate for 10 minutes.
  4. While the fish is resting, finely chop the spring onion and quarter the cherry tomatoes.
  5. After 10 minutes, remove the tuna from the fridge.
  6. Sprinkle the chopped spring onion and cherry tomatoes evenly over the fish.
  7. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and finish with a touch of freshly cracked black pepper.
