⚓ Notable Catches & Reports
May was an interesting month with 10 days of big tuna caught. This is quite late in the season but with a sudden drop in water temperature, the big yellowfin were active. Dorado were also abundant far out. Shelves and banks were relatively quiet with a few good days. We also saw quite a lot of larger skipjack tuna.
Sharks remain an issue.
Current has been very strong around full moon and new moon. This pushes fish deeper and away from drop offs
