⚓ Notable Catches & Reports
Marlin have arrived with large numbers being caught on the right days around new and full moon. Big schools of small and big skipjack tuna have been found around the island.
Sharks have become a major issue on many spots specially on banks and drop offs. They are staying close to tuna shoals.
The Suzuki fishing competition saw a record breaking amount of boats with 95 boats entering with over 350 fishermen. A 140hp was won for a 400lbs ++ blue Marlin boated.
The SIOBC was held at the end of January and also broke many records. Below you will see the stats from the competition.
